What is an Indie Area?
Indie Areas are dedicated spaces at trade shows, festivals, or exhibitions that give creatives from the game development industry and related fields the opportunity to showcase their projects.

Where creativity meets community
These community areas offer a platform for individuals or small teams who realize their projects on their own initiative and at their own risk.
It is the stage where developers share their stories, where we delve into fantastical worlds and absorb the creative aura from unconventional projects.
Real Ideas - Real People
By visiting an Indie Area at events, people can immerse themselves in the latest projects of the developer community, converse with the creators, and gain a live perspective.
Für die Entwicklerinnen selbst, ist es ein Community Event, an dem die Branche zusammen kommt. Bevor es die Indie Areas gab, war der Austausch in der Community einfach nicht so groß.

Here's what happens with the donation proceeds:
- Indies can exhibit free of charge.
- We elevate the visitor experience to the next level. (Treasure hunts, stamp rallies, and much more).
- Provision for the helpers who make these events possible.
- A guarantee of at least 8 Indie Areas per year.
And in the (hopefully near) future…
- Tech equipment
- PR content for the indies
- Themed workshops
This is obviously a super deal for the indies, as their only effort is to come and showcase their game, because creAT ensures that indies can continue to exhibit their projects for free at events.
